    Careful fishing the bridges

Reports are that they were able to put out a distress call and they stopped traffic. It doesn't make sense that they could stop traffic and not clear the construction workers. I'm sure there's a lot of this story missing. The developments will be a good follow.

What percentage of your boating is....

Thanks, I enjoy reading others experiences when it comes to boating, fishing, whatever. It makes a good short story read for me, I get to live your life for a moment.

1962 18hp Evinrude- is the thermostat working?

Well, if it's not overheating it's stuck in the open position, which is better then closed. I'm going way back in my memory for this, but my 74 Johnson 15HP always was warm, never hot to touch. That said, I never held my hand under it longer then it took to rinse the fish off my hands.

    Fuel water separtor

I know this doesn't answer your question, but if I have the money, I'd be looking up what filter the manufacturer currently recommends or at least look up what filter a Tahatsu or other 2 stroke producer uses.

Question on new Alumacraft hulls (V14/V16)

If you remove them add some bracing of your own.

    Ranger II Restoration with TeeNee

The only bracing I'd want to add would be at the bow and then only if you will be plowing head first into 2 footers. If your body of water is usually calm, less weight, fewer holes is how I'd go. And of course, do not remove that strake down the center. (I'm always joking)
