Oh wow what a cutie! I picked up one, same boat, this summer too!

After a bunch of reading I will probably not be using it as is medium or long term, I think. Not sure I can set this one up as a bunk trailer. I do plan on using this on local lakes and not have it dedicated to the cabin.

Motor sn (this is as best as I can tell at the moment) 25526-01005 I would love to know the year. There is a control box outside of the engine.

I confirmed via hull id that it is a 1963. I need to clean off the engine serial number and look that up when I get a chance. I am pretty sure I found it on the bow side of the engine mount.

No worries, there is information in all forms, including advice. Good advice, like yours, shows concern, which I appreciate! I will look at it when I get home but there are brackets at the end of the trailer 'legs' that seem to be a u-joint with a pad at the top that is holding the boat in that...
