How to Repair Side Console Plastic Windshield

Don't know if this would work for you, but could you use the crazy glue and then put a narrow strip of plastic to cover the site over the width of the shield? UV should not be able to penetrate, I think. Best wishes

    Floatie

I've seen buoys like that strung together to indicate a safe swimming zone in a state park. Maybe some private residents have similar uses?

    almost done

Although I haven't seen the mention of it in the last few years, there was (or is) a product called "Shark Hide" (I think) that has been mentioned in years past by pontoon owners for protecting their floats. As I recall, it was pricey, but reputedly protected the shined aluminium. Great job on...

    Show us your Motorcycles

These days, motorcycles are mostly "yesterday," but I've got a couple of BMW twins in the shed, needing TLC. My fear is that my imagination will excede my reaction time and physical endurance. Keep the shiny side up.

    I'm back

Jim, welcome back! What with the Covid and all, you probably want to empty your freezer of many of the frozen fish (many people who contract Covid find this speeds their recoveries--honest!) I can message or email you my address for your convenience. I'm almost always there to help a pal.

    55 feather craft with trailer

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=1955+feathercraft Looks to be a well-designed craft. Made in the era of "sexy Tins." Above is a search listing which may be of help to you. First thoughts: a whole lot of stuff can happen to a boat made in 1955 over 67 years of use/abuse...

    pin hole leak

Quickest, easiest, cheapest way right now is to use J B Water Weld on it. Just follow the directions and it should be (even probably WILL be) good for as long as you have the boat. Small hole repairs are the strength of J B Weld. Best wishes.

Texasjim? You do good work. Betcha you miss the custom black paint job. I'm kind of stunned that you reduced the height so professionally. Well done!!

    Not a Pontoon

Reflecting on this, it seems to me if you've got your health (mostly), people who care for you, and people for whom you care, everything else is just "stuff." You ARE rich. Best wishes.

Forum changes you are seeing / Group Builder intro

Thank you, Angie and Co., I feared I'd lose a favored, and long-appreciated site. I often go back and re-read threads I've started to savor the nostalgia of a younger and more physically ambitious "me." This site is an opportunity for time travel at a time in my life when I sometimes need to...

    TinBoats.net is for sale

Hey Jim, Everything changes, I guess, but I'll miss your personal touch on the forum. Whatever happens, you have been a gift to those of us who want to talk about, ask about, provide information for, and seek information from other Tin Boats owners and rehabbers. I hope the transition allows...
