    Funnies

Actually, that is speed tape. I have used it many times on commercial aircraft. If he used duct tape the FAA would revoke his A&P license. Commercial aircraft do not fly at 500 MPH airspeed. They fly closer to 300-350 MPH airspeed at altitude where the air is thinner. The ground speed will be...

    Old Gas

I have a lawn mower that does that. Let it sit over the winter and it refuses to start without rebuilding the carb. I have a spare carb for it. I swap it out at the beginning of the season and rebuild the one that came off of it to have it ready for the next years season.

    Battery Idea!

I use a Great Planes Triton charger on a lot of different types of batteries that I purchased about 15 years ago from my RC aircraft hobby. In my opinion, those Evinrude 9.9/15's were some of the best motors ever produced. They are pretty easy to work on compared to others. There are parts available without too much hassle. Even NAPA Auto Parts sells parts for them. They are very dependable little motors. If you have one, I would...

Braid is thinner than monofilament of the same lb. test. You can fit more on your reel if using the same lb. test. You can use a...

    Heavy traffic

When I was young back in the early 70's I used to trap racoons. A good hide with no damage would fetch around $40.00. On average a hide would bring about $20.00. I also sold the meat of the racoon for around $3.00 each. Now for possums, I could give them away, but I had to keep them alive for...

NOCO Battery Jump Starter - Any Good?

I have a NOCO GBX75 that I use to jump diesels at work up to 7 liters. These diesels have two Group 31 batteries, and this jump starter has no problem starting the diesel engine.

How many of you like night fishing?

Where I am from, bluegill and shad seem to bring in the larger catfish. My experience is that to catch bigger fish, use bigger bait.
