Thanks, this is part 2 LOL. Selling that was a MAJOR mistake and one I won't make again. On the good, I gained a lot of experience and knew exactly what I wanted to do with this one so planning things was a lot easier. Worst part so far? Removing the floor. I'm going to update my rescue project...

You are right, that's one stable boat even with 3 on the bow. Been there and done that, the best thing to me about the Mod V is that it's a blank canvas and as you know, ya can do anything to them including loading up a 4 wheeler in them. IMHO, they are the best built production welded hull...

Thanks, yes a buddy has a lift at his house so going to get the boat off the trailer and head to St Pete to have the trailer work done, then to Ocala to have it media blasted and primed for paint.

Just picked up an 1872 SeaArk and it's a full out rescue project. Rather than documenting a rescue with photos, thought I'd start a YouTube channel that documents the project from day one. And so it begins. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=va6_sF_s__Y

Came across Alexseal paint, and appears to be a really good option to paint my "Tin Ark" after the work is done. Anyone ever use it? Can be sprayed, brushed and rolled on for easy touch ups...

Been looking around for an older Duracraft or SeaArk and came across a Duracraft on Craigslist. Owner has it priced way high and it's been listed for a couple of months. Hull and trailer year is 08 and flawless. Engine is an old Johnson 70 2 Stroke which are typically known to be great engines...
