Spot lock is built into my trolling motor itself, it has no bearing on my FF. There may be other types, but my MK power drive works great..even hold in a 2' chop

They are not hard to pull start. A compression check should be done as well as an in water test. Should idle well....if all checks out...anything used is a gamble...plan on replacing water pump and spark plugs anyway.

If you can get to both sides they can be hammered out if not real deep dents. Keep in mind that the aluminum on better quality aluminum boats is tempered for strength. It does bend/ dent on a impact, but doesn't like to be bent back back very well ! It often cracks if moved to far that is why...

Thanks for confirming what others have said....thinking about m moving up to a 140 ah battery for only a little more. Have to decide on brand and get a 20 amp lifepo4 charger as well. Most all the 140 battery mfgrs have recommended a 20 amp charger.
