Is it out of gas? I know that sounds dumb but the fuel level sensor could be off and that five gallons might go quicker than you think.

My Minnkota just does crazy stuff on occasion. If will drops out of a route, just decides to cancel navigation on it’s own. Occasionally it decides to reverse directions and run over the lines. This is usually when it gets unplugged.

Looks good but, I’m not sure about the screw on plug. My Minnkota Terrova goes app-crap once in awhile. Being able to unplug it quickly is the final fail safe mechanism.

I would assume that outboard manufactures quit using a “model year” so they would not have to discount previous year units that didn’t sell.

The whole Humminbird/Minnkota marketing rides on the edge of a scam. All the information is there but, you really have to dig for it and do your homework. If you just quick read the marketing BS you will waste a lot of cash.

Who do you use for flashing small outboard ECMs?
