My boat has similar specs as yours and with my 4 stoke Yamaha 15hp and two adults I run 21 mph. Would love to see what that 25 could do on my tin.

It's a 20 inch transom. Yes, I was hoping to get a 25 HP Yamaha or Honda but this one popped up on c-list and was a good buy and in great shape. I'll still keep looking for a larger one as the boat is rated for 50 HP. I did remove alot of weight since I no longer have console and upper deck framing.

Normally when the kids go fishing with me, I end up using those.. :LOL2:

Picked up a used Yamaha four stroke tiller 15hp for good price and it's in amazing shape!

I pre-drilled the holes for screws after cutting plywood to fit. Then sealed with epoxy on both sides. It adds to the size of wood and small amount of weight.

That seems to be how it has always worked for me. I can tell when the battery is low when I keep twisting the handle looking for another faster speed!

Got out on the lake around 10:30 AM today, caught one small bass(video below!)! fGyKmcPG1BE Then I spent time trying to locate the bigger bass with fish finder on structure. No clue where they are today.

Went back today, got there little after 6 am.. Caught four total, one solid large mouth and rest dinkers..

Nice find, looks like a solid layout! Wis I could find boats like those around here. I epoxied all the wood in my boat. It was an extra $200 for epoxy and it adds about 1/8 inch to the wood all over. my goal is for the wood to last at least ten years.

I was missing lots of fish earlier in the year, now I have started sharpening my hooks before fish and during. Not sure if its just in the my head but it seems to be working!

Got up early today, got in the water at 6:30 am today had the place all to myself! Tosses out some Yum wooly hawgcraw and spinner bait. Got eight young bass..It was nine but I am sure I caught the same fish twice!

I would take the battery back out and see if you still have the same speed as before.

I do the same trick Jim, then I dump the ashes on the same single white pine trees. This one tree is about four feet talller than the others.
