FWIW I find that the West System G-Flex 650 is superior to GluVit in that it is flexible and cheaper. And it is not thick or toothpaste-like a caulk product is, but is thin like GluVit. And online here I've posted a few W-S tutorials of repairs where you weep it in with the addition of a hair...

Yes, same mix, no thickener (cabosil) added. This transom was all 1/4" hardware, so likely 3/8"+ sized holes, nit sure if I mentioned it in photos above ... and didn't look.

It’s real foam like flip flops are made of. Cool to the bare foot, hides/covers all the ribs and makes for easy walking around. I should add it gives great, easy footing for the dog too and when going to the beach any sand just drops through the holes in the mats. They’re heavy enough to stay...

Just all remember that for wire size ampacity calculations, a ‘run’ or the length is the distance TO the load and BACK. So the 3’ distance from OB to battery is really a 6’ ampacity run.

I agree 100%! I was thinking my method of an acetone wash (one direction only!) as prep beforehand would remove any polish remnant ...

They also make them for mounting OBs.
