Thanks everyone. I really appriciate the positive feedback. No updates as of now. Trying to get the funds in order to continue with the build. Hard to spend a lot when he's part time and Ive got a family to support. But as soon as we get moving forward I'll update.

Oh I see. I wasnt sure if you were toughing it out without the APR. I tried that, then broke down and shelled out 50 bucks instead of spending several unnessesary hours laboring over paint that did NOT want to come off. Once you get some progress send me some pictures. I would love to see it.

This is a little bit of a clearer shot of the paint. We got realllllly detailed with this one. Maybe a tad too much but I love the way it turned out. Kind of a mix between a duck camo and a woods camo. It took a lot of time and patience but payed off in the end.

Thanks a lot! We are really happy with how it turned out. The paint is holding up really well. During duck season we were plowing through 2 inch ice it dented the bow of the boat but didnt scratch the paint.. lol. But I know how you feel I have another one that is a 1955 and when we painted it...
