Quick question guys would a 1990 carb work on a 78 ?

So if I put the tune exhausted in n didn't like the 15 carb do u know how itt would react with the 9.9 carb

I wanna thank u for ur example so the best thing to do is get me a tach n see what she really doing first because I troll a lot n I also cruise to get to a spot

So changing the carb makes it faster how does it idle? I have a 78 an thinking about doing it too
