Actually the seats were long gone before I ever got the boat so I am not sure if they had foam in them prior. I did line the floor in the front storage with the silverboard foam insulation. I have heard of people using that in the boat. I think the main thing is to find something that wont soak...

All the carpet on. New seats added. Rod holders riveted to the sides and two hatch doors to access under storage! Ready to hit the water!

Added the front deck as well as support for the back deck using a reclaimed bed frame that was actually pretty light.

Because the seats had been previously removed, I needed a way to make the front deck secure without attaching anything to the hull. I used the frame from an old shelving unit, attached with nuts and bolts and riveted to the base cross beams of the floor.
