I have Tempress seats & don't regret spending the money.I have had them for 5 years with no problems.

I have my transducer mounted on a plate with slots with wing nuts that I can raise if going in shallow water.

You'd be surprised what parts are still around for those old motors.

Check some of the basics(spark & compression) & see if you can get it to run before you stick any money into it.If you get it running make sure its pumping water.If alls good I would replace the water pump impeller,change the lower unit oil & run it.

I have lawn mower size AGM bat which is 5 years old with no problems. I will see the model # & post when I get home. I can pick it up with 1 hand.

I used some pvc fittings , glued them together & attached the hose to that.

Is there a button you push in to work the throttle?

Up north here, (Mich) if you leave a boat in the water all the time it will get algae growing on it.

Look at the side of the block & there will be a small frost plug with numbers on it. That will ID motor.

100:1 is just not enough oil to properly lube an outboard.They used to have 100:1 but changed for that reason. Surprised nobody else chimed in on this.

I would run 50:1 on that motor.

You will probably have to change some of the electrical under the flywheel for charging. Other than that it is pretty straight forward.

I don't trust oil injection. [-o< If it where mine the injection would be gone.

So I would think full strength
