it looked good. i feel the smoke ring is over rated. i have used propane, electric and oak coals. in the end everyone was happy and the meat was fantastic. i am doing a whole hog cook in november. we will see how that turns out. whole hog is my favorite to cook.

Exactly what I did.

i relocated my battery to the front, ran wires back to the motor and console. deleted the "starter battery". used the trolling motor battery for all power.

My 20hp merc. Did that. The float bowl was sticking in the up position. I would have to tap on the float bowl to get it unstuck while on the water to get it to function. Tore it down and cleaned. Never had the problem again.

yeah, when i bought the tracker i had i looked at the Hobie's, then i saw the price....... so i bought the tracker instead. the shenandoah close to where i live now is not conducive to power boats. further north you can run an outboard.

Always always always tilt over on the side where the hoses connect after each use. If there is water in the pump and it freezes it will split the pump housing. I have seen several that this has happened to. Fortunately mine wasnt one of them
