    Deck framing with rigid foam

He must have one hell of a set of sea legs on him if he stands on that deck in that narrow flat bottom boat.

    Removing Center Bench Seat

Bad idea in my opinion. The bench is a horizontal strut.

Holy Grail of Trolling Motor Plugs

Thanks for the tip on the Anderson plugs. I will definitely look into them.

Holy Grail of Trolling Motor Plugs

Haven't had a chance to really put it to the test. I'll find out what it's made of in a few weeks when the water warms up and the bowfishing starts. I really like how it screws/locks in. And when's it's locked it's solid as a rock. After a about 5 trips of regular/normal fishing use I...

New south carolina state record bluecat

The World Record comes form my hometown lake: Kerr Lake. I think it's 143 lbs. Fished a tourney in January and the boat about 300 yds from us caught one 141 lbs.

I use the plates with brass bushings. You can buy the brass bushings online.

    Sitting in Class this week

I am. We just went through migrating a program to a cloud infrastructure solution and now we are migrating it back to internal infrastructure. In the cloud you give up a lot of control of your infrastructure and our experience was horrible. Good luck!

DIY PONTOONS FOR A TIN CANOE??

You may have better luck on your quest if you search for "canoe outriggers" or "kayak outriggers" on Google.

    Boat Seat sugggestions for Tinboat

I like it. I'm 5'7" and it is only a leaning post for me. A 6' tall guy may be able to sit on it, but my opinion is that it's meant for leaning only. If you like to sit and stand in equal measure, I think a casting seat with the leaning cushion on the back would probably be better. If you...

    Boat Seat sugggestions for Tinboat

I have one of these. It's great for leaning on. https://www.cabelas.com/product/Control-Post-Pedestal-Seat-System/737129.uts?productVariantId=1197536&WT.tsrc=PPC&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=00014145&rid=20&gclid=CIj42M_F99ICFQeSaQode50IFg&gclsrc=aw.ds

    Worried boat is too shallow

It's not wide enough to do anything to. Clean it up, paint it and that's about it. Cool looking little boat.

    G3 1656 CCJ ((New Lights & Neodymium 3/16/17 ))

I'm really pleased with the RAM Mount solution. Infinite adjustment, easy on/off, and no sharp edges. That's exactly what I was looking for. I used the 1.5" ball and they hold the lights rock solid.

    on board battery charger

I have a Minn Kota 330D on my boat and love it. Probably one of the best investments I made for the boat. This a robust charger at 10 amps x 3 banks. I went this route because I routinely drain batteries dead trolling and want a complete charge as quick as possible. I have a 24V...

    Gander Mountain Closing 30+ Stores

Now where will I go to look for things I need but they don't have....but just had an isle full of it 2 weeks ago and will not be ordering anymore of them.

    G3 1656 CCJ ((New Lights & Neodymium 3/16/17 ))

Added some new LED running lights to the boat this weekend. I wanted the lights to be 360 degree adjustable and most importantly removable (otherwise they would get ripped off eventually). I chose to go with a 1.5" ball RAM mount and it worked out exactly like I wanted. No sharp edges to snag...

    Boat build decision

Go for the 16ft. Experience tells me that if you build out your 14ft, you'll sell it in a year or two and buy the 16 anyway.
