    Now This Would Be a Trip . . . .

Things like this is one of the reasons the Coast Guard is needed.....:) Been on Lake Erie when it went from pretty good to 5 to 6 footers in a very short time. Lucky I was with a Capt. that knew what he was doing and had all ready started to head in when wind showed up.....:) Lake Erie western...

    Safety Issues = Power Tools

Sorry to hear about the problems the missed piece of wood has caused you. Hopefully they regenerate rapidly for you. Glad to hear the good news that they didn't have to wire your jaw.

    Safety Issues = Power Tools

Wow Johnny that is quite the story. Glad you came out of it alive and kicking. When my wife's jaw was wired shut, she said she loved milkshakes. I love woodworking, and have had some close calls, but usually a kick back comes from a pinch point of some kind. I know you probably all ready know...

Added EZEE steps to my trailer

Like the idea Rich99, especially with the tall handle for balance. Sure would beat walking the tongue lol. Almost 60 and the balancing act isn't as good as it use to be...:) Thanks for sharing.

    Post storm venting

I feel your pain. I thought I saw on the news that an investigation was going to happen over this subject due to the deaths of several elderly people due to the heat. Of course I would not hold your breath, utilities companies have deep pockets to cover themselves. Hopefully you do not get a...

    Posting/Attaching Photos

LDUBS, I have found it to be related to size of picture. When I first started to post they would be upside down. I then took the pics and started to reduce the size of them down a little at a time till they showed correctly. It has been a while since I posted any pics so I can't say what size...

Houston at our house, for anyone who cares....

It is good to see others pitching into help others out. That is what I love about this country, when things get tough people come together to do what they can. Task force 1 from Ohio headed down and is helping getting people out who are stranded. May all the first responders (professional or...

Houston at our house, for anyone who cares....

That is one impressive drainage system to handle that much rain and not have worse flooding than what is in the pics. I don't think our storm sewers here would have handle it so well. Good luck Rich99 and hopefully your house fairs well out of all this....:)
