My tracker has carpet on it and it still gets hot enough during the day to make it uncomfortable to go bare foot, so during peak times I have to put sandals back on for a while. Has been a hotter than normal summer so far though. I would think it would take more than just paint color to cool it...

Some where in these forums I remember someone saying that they have used Brillo pads to clean their aluminum boat hull, may give that a try....I have used it on my 92 Tracker and it seemed to work pretty good....not sure about the spots that were acid cleaned if it would do much to help there.

Not sure of the year of this one, but does it have a kill switch lanyard? One that attaches to the driver in case they get tossed.

Can't help you much with the hidden HIN number, but I would recommend calling the ODNR watercraft division and asking them what you would need to do to get it registered in Ohio. Did you build that tray or purchase it? I have an older Motorguide and the cable from the foot control to the TM is very stiff. Not sure a recessed would work with this foot control but am willing to try. Thanks.....:) the finished product looks very good and should last you a while.
