Looking to buy a front deck sonar adjustable mount

I'm in need of a heavy duty front deck sonar mount that is adjustable to the height of 2' of more. I saw one at the Dallas Boat Show but failed to get the dealer info or the mfg. of the sonar mounting bracket. This was a very heavy duty one made of either stainless or aluminum. I figure one...

Day in and day out the working hard needing less cleaning and parts replaced I find my Abu 5000-5500-6000-6500 give me the best service. This is in fishing with customers 150+ days a year. Where to find this rod holder.

"i can't figure out how those Bee Readys keep a rod from going overboard." When a fish gets on a rod in the BeeReady the harder it pulls the more it pulls the rod down against the back of the handle. Biggest fish I've caught so far is a 64.8# blue cat and it couldn't pull it out. Now if a fish...

Where to find this rod holder.

Those rod holders are not BeeReady, I've been sponsored by BeeReady for over 15 years. I consider BeeReady to be the best for my way of fishing, others like Driftmaster, Scott, Monster, or something else. Just make sure your rod holders will not let your rod&reel slip or be pulled out.

Where to find this rod holder.

I had some of those on a Ranger back in the early 90's purchased from Bass Pro. Had some reds pull rods out of em. At that time they was advertised as the best rod holder going. I contacted them about my problem of rods being jerked out but never heard back from them. I've not seen any for sale...

    Transom savers....a middle ground

I've had a transom saver on this boat since new, a 2005 22' Xpress tunnel hull Center console. The 115 Yamaha has over 1300 hours on it and it has been used in some less than desirable conditions. You have to weld em up, one of the maintenance problems of a tin boat. This may be a few more...

Drift paddle to use with your Power Pole

I have 4 drift socks a 30"-60" and two 72" and the wind and current dictate which ones I use. I fish lots of wind up to slightly over 20 MPH. The Drift Paddle replaces the rear sock and is adjustable to five different angles to help maneuver or steer the boat on a drift pattern. The Power Pole...

Doug Hughes and I made our pilgrimage to Sabine Pass to celebrate his birthday during the bull red run. Started on Oct. 17 until the 19th cut short two days because of bad weather. Red drum caught on crab, cut mullet and sand trout. No fish in more than one photo.

November 4, 2015 Doug Hughes and I went to Sabine Pass to fish for red drum. Caught 24 in 4.5 hours. In the photos all fish only appear once and we managed to land a double, triple, and four once. That is my salt water fix for the year. For a full report of this and all my recent catfish trips...
