    New Les Baer Monolith

Wow that is very nice, the vz grips are a nice touch. They look somewhat on the smooth side. Some of their grip patterns can tear up shirts.....and hands  but they sure are grippy and look great

    Black Bart Offshore 7-30-11

This is what is supposed to happen. What usually happens is everyone is completely surprised that we had a knock down, then we scramble to figure out what rod is going off. Then everyone starts screaming and frantically doing very little, but we eventually get the fish to the boat  To...

OK, I have HAD IT.... LINE TWIST!

Use braid :P I use mainly baitcasters and braid with everything, I haven't had a problem with line twist in years.

Braided line sucks! I'm going back to Stren.

    Amen Brother :!:

    vacation time

Nice Job Wayne and Mrs. Redbug =D> Those fish sure are growing, the head on that one is just massive. How do you like that rapala scale, I was looking for a new scale and saw it. I was wondering about the clip, looks like it holds up to some nice bass.

    Bucks County Lake 6-12-11

So that's what it was like out this morning. I had my alarm set for 4, just didn't quite make it out of bed at that time. Finally a pickerel out of there. It's about time, Nice job =D>

    New 5.4 oz Revo MGX

I have been seeing videos on facebook about this reel constantly. It looks pretty sweet but is definately not a reel for me. Thats too light for me and there's not enough drag. I do have to say though, reels are getting ridiculous. They are getting as bad as trying to keep up with new...

See what a TinBoats Sweatshirt can do for you!

Ahab forgot to mention what a tacklewarehouse sweatshirt can do Actually I just watched on the trip, I had no action at all. It was alot of fun seeing the fish smash at the bunker on top though. I was glad to take some pics with the fish though  We also had the luxury of fishing...

    Captain Ahab's 16' Mirrocraft

So yeah....we totally didn't take pics of this project. So here are the pics of the mostly finished product. Incredibly the thing still floats, and has had 4 trips so far and has performed flawlessly. Still some adjustments to do, but it is well on its way to slaying toadie bass

My Two New CCGuns and Why

Good choices, I have not messed with the lc9 but I have shot the lcp a bunch. The lcp is my favorite pocket 380, other than NAA baby pistols. I have been thinking about a small pocket pistol as well, but my g33 fits just about anywhere I stick it, so I am good with that for a while. Good luck...

Speer gold dots in my g33, and golden sabers in my xd9 and commander. I love golden sabers

    Cape Cod King Contest!

Yeah it maybe looks good for the first few trips with him, but try doing it almost everyday for the past 5 or 6 years. At that point all those nice words you said turn into just one.....Crazy, captain ahab is crazy

    New bearings for my revo

Well after tearing apart my old revo stx-hs this winter and polishing and painting it, I decided to get some new bearings for the reel. I went with a set of orange seal ceramic abec7 bearings from boca bearings. I put them in last thursday and have fished with them a bunch now. They are awesome...

    Cape Cod King Contest!

I just got home from a quick fishing trip with both of Jim's competition, it was a sad sight. If there was a vote that they all skunk out I would take that  But, I'm gonna have to go with BassAddict with a 2lb 12oz

    Berkley Fireline 30lb review

Fireline is the first superline I have ever use, oh atleast 10 years ago now. While it is stiff, that stuff is just ridiculously strong. I had it on reels for 3 or 4 years and it just kept getting better. After the first year it started really loosening up and got nice and limp. It started to...

    Critter eliminator

Very cool and awesome job on the grips. I wanna do something similar with an over under, just haven't found a cheap crappy old over under yet. That looks like it would work for getting rid of ticks

5-7-11 Striper (With a Picture of Stomach Contents)

If you would have given that fish more time I bet it would have had a clown x-rap in its stomach as well. Glad to see you fishing again. Gotta love those stripers, they sure are delicious and a blast to catch. I am pretty sure stripers will eat whatever is abundantly available, just like me

    1st striper (ever)

Nice Job, send all your bass gear my way and upgrade to striper sized gear. All it takes it one striper and you are hooked. I have been getting less sleep than ever since march due to those striped punks.....well since last year this time anyways. I wouldn't have it any other way though.
