    ow to fasten batteries in a tin boat?

    My batteries bounce all over in my bilge area. I know they make trays to mount them but how do you mount the tray when it is against the bottom of the boat? Anybody have experience with this? Thanks!

    Attaching a transom mount to a v-hull up front?

    I am converting a v-hull 14'. All the flotation foam is gone inside the seat benches. It's an old boat and I'm not sure there ever was any? I'd rather not sink and think I should add some. Do I use the stuff they sell at home depot in the spray can or is there another option? Thanks Scotto
