    One more question, is there a torque spec on the impeller nut? When I took it apart it was finger tight.

    Had the boat out yesterday when the engine suddenly revved up and we seemed to lose water propulsion from the pump. All we have is exhaust coming out. We checked for obstructions on the grates or stuff wedged in the pump. Any help would be appreciated.

    No problem. The motor looks good with the pic you sent, so if were me I would go with the fuel lines like dhoganjr said. Good luck.

    The motor height should be check with the motor trimmed all the way down as dhoganjr said. If it is 1/4 higher when trimmed all the up then it must be way low when trimmed all the way down.
