The skeg on my motor broke off right at the tip, and I was wondering if you guys think that grinding this flat and making it straight up and down would reduce any performance or affect anything. I wouldn't like to take it to get fixed if I don't have to. Wondering your guys opinion.

Wondering if anyone here has used alumahawk boat paint. Its really intriguing because you don't need to prime, just apply paint to the bare aluminum after wiping with vinegar. If this product is no good, what is the best primer, and topcoat to paint a boat for a reasonable price? Thanks, Max

I have a Alumacraft 1236 Jon boat and I am going to be putting wood on top of the bench seats with seat pin mounts. I need to know how should I secure the wood to the seats with toggle bolts or tapping screws. The aluminum, is so thin I would think screws wouldn't hold.
