I am trying to use a tp link router ,with a lowrance Ethernet cable that I cut one end off and installed rj45 connector on, to make my lowrance hds 10 gen 2 wifi to a tablet. Somehow I think that I assigned the hds 10 ip address to port 1 of the lowrance module box (that is where Ethernet...

Bptjr to donor i think you can easily make the sockets with plumbing parts. A round flange screwed to deck and short pipe screwed into flange. Thats what i used to make risers for my depth finders. Flanges and pipes come in several diameters. Hope this helps.
something told me that posting here would help me !! it is so encouraging to know others have problems that didn't keep them from fishing. ideas and encouragement was just what I needed. now its time to do something about it . thanks to all ,bptjr
Fishing friends are always offering help. Im just not sure of best ideas of how to do. Mostly looking for how others have delt with simular situations with their jon boat. My alumacraft 1548 has raised front & rear deck and open floor with exposed ribs.
Need ideas for handicapped rigging my jonboat. Late last year found myself in a new situation . I have fished almost daily for a lot of years but now severe back problems make sitting up or walking very painful. Im going crazy from not fishing. This conversion would involve a flat floor to hold...
I understand your addictions as I collect, repair, build and play about anything with strings.my downstairs looks like a cross between a music store ,a workshop , and a fishing tackle shop .
yours is probably like mine. there are a few things you can do to go faster. sorry I didn't answer your message ,I couldn't figure out how to do it. I started at about 8 and got to 20.2 @ 5680 rpm. still looking for more. I explained a lot of what I did in a post in MOTORS alternator drag vs...
if you are looking for speed try a 3 blade solas stainless 9 1/4 9 . you need a tach to monitor rpm. 10 bucks on ebay will buy a tiny tach. your Honda needs to run at no more than 6000 rpm. I gained a lot with this prop on my 15 foot alumacraft with Honda 9.9 .check my older post about...
try testing each cell of battery with a battery hydrometer. if you don't have one , they are cheep at any auto parts store. it floats a bunch of colored balls in its tube and this tells you % of charge on each cell. if one is a lot less than others it the problem. but befor replacing battery ...
I went to a lawnmower battery about a year ago. I fish about 200 .days a year. The battery powers electric start on my 9.9 honda with 12 amp charging @ wide open. Also powers lowrance hds10 & elite 7 & bilge pump. One thing i found out was one big draw is from how you set the backlight...
15/48 Alumacraft - Vance jackplate - Honda 9.9 .Water GUSHES into boat coming up thru center of jackplate only in reverse with a moderate throttle. Im trying to think of how correct this or block it without causing another problem. Any ideas would be helpful. Almost forgot to say motor is up...
My alumicraft 15/48 allweld with honda bf9.9d 4 stroke tops over 20. I spent alot of time getting to that speed but the best gains came from jack plate- prop-REMOVING WEIGHT&WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION-and intake air induction. Check my earlier post titled alternator drag vs rpm. . There are several...
