Keep searching until you find a proper drop hitch. Your boat is light enough that I wouldn't worry about it. Make sure you have tow chains and a good pin in your receiver. I think you are over thinking this. Keep it simple.

I have vinyl on my boat and it is great. It actually has a thin layer of cloth between the vinyl and aluminum for insulation. It never gets hot. I will never buy anything else.

I finnished staining and sealing my deck. I went a little darker than I was planning because that's what my wife suggested. I figured if I was going to keep it camo it might work out. Anyways, here is what I was able to get done today.
