Many of the (fiberglass) boats in Crystal River have them. They are used for site fishing for redfish, cobia, etc. I even see them on Gheenoes all the time.

That Sharkhide looks like pretty cool stuff. It says it "Protects in fresh, brackish, and saltwater" which is good because the boat will be in Crystal River often. Thanks for the heads up on that.

Here's a pic of the inside of the boat. The PO had put that long piece of wood in as a multi-rod holder. I took it out of course. The inside is being painted sand color with hunter green seat tops. I ordered Green/Sand boats seats to match the new boat color. There will be 4 pedestal bases so...

I replaced the tiny little midget (8 inch) trailer wheels with slightly bigger (12 inch) wheels. Had to drill new mounting holes in the fenders and the trailer frame to raise the fenders. They might end up being too small to protect the boat from road spray. Guess I will find out first...

I don't actually live in Crystal River, I have 2 vacation rental homes there. I live in Atlanta. But Crystal River is a great town. I will be retiring there in a few years.

Thanks for the info. I read that if you spray it with WD40 it help to "preserve" the shine. I doubt that really works, but I might give it a try.
