I really don’t think that weight can hurt these boats much. I have a deck all the way to the Console,framing completely out of wood with 4 storage compartments and a center rod locker and still had to put my 2 trolling motor batteries up front to help with porpoising and it’s still not enough...

Just a few updates. I ran the boat to test out the motor with the jackplate. 0-30mph was absolutely insane but topped out at 43. Also motor was a little to high. Purple wire is accessory power for your gauges. Obviously you don’t have to use it if you are running a power from something else. I don’t remember what outboard you have the trim probably has a leak in one of the seals. You could check the manual let down screw and make sure it is tight also...

The motor that is on it currently is a 90. I’m not sure if it’s going to stay on or not. I looked up and seen a lot of these boats are rated for 80. My tag says 90 and I seen a post somewhere else that another one was rated for 90. Either way if you go off coast guard you calculations it’s fine...
