1978 johnson 85hp V4, I just picked one up , has anyone ever run one of these motors?

I finally traced my outboard problems to a stripped spark plug receptical , I plan on installing a helicoil to fix the problem but I'm not sure what size I need. The motor is a 1970 johnson 20hp seahorse model # 20R70E. Any help is appreciated.

I have gvot a 1970 20hp johnson outboard , am I better off to put premium gasoline in it or does it not matter?

Anybody know what I got here? It's 14' by 48 and the only thing I'v got to work with is on the back right is etched SL 36115 Any help is appreciated.

I am moving my gas tank for my 20hp johnson outboard tiller steer to the front of my 14 jon and I am having trouble finding a fuel line that is long enough. Is something I can make my self with fuel line and hose clamps? Any help ia appreciated. Thanks
