    Remove middle bench.

If you remove the middle bench you can run floor supports front to back and that will give the boat a lot of support. I connected my floor supports to the front and rear benches.

    RichLine model 15 project

I have a 14ft Richline. I like these boats. Good job on the paint work.

Has anybody noticed the absence new Jon boats under 15ft for sale?

Love Eufaula. Fished many tournaments on that lake.

Bow mount trolling motor on 14' semi-V?

I did the same with the boat in my sig. It's the only way to go in my opinion.

    1980's Sea Nymph GLS 19.5

I like those boats. There's so much that can be done with them. You're getting a good start at the worst part of the job. Lol. Just make sure to put foam back in and don't use pool noodles for foam. What are your plans for the rebuild?

    1960’s 16’ Aluminum V-hull Mystery Boat Build

As some others have said, don't use treated plywood. It will eat the aluminum. Use marine grade or regular plywood sealed.

1988 Alumacraft Pro17 - needs pretty much everything

Great platform to build from. I'm keeping my eye out for something like this. I've done a 14ft boat and I'm gonna redo it if I don't find a nice boat like this over the winter. I like the idea of the open floor plan for trolling. My plans would be similar but I would probably build a removable...

    Boat modifications

Sweet. I love the Richline boats.

    Boat modifications

You can add places to attach a deck to. By doing this you can easily replace any structural integrity for when you remove the bench.

    79’ Alumacraft Lunker 16

That's a great boat to start with. Best way to pinpoint leaks is to put about 3 inches of water in the boat and get under it and watch for leaks. You'll not only know if it leaks/how bad but also where from. If any rivets are leaking don't just try to seal them. Tighten (buck) them first then...

    An H2O Willy's Jeep

Welcome aboard. Sounds like an interesting project. Can't help you on the prop question but I look forward to seeing your pics and watching the build.

    Gluvit with no bottom paint?

Yep, Gluvit is for the inside of the boat. Just have to coat seams and rivets.

1993 Sea Nymph 16 ft vee

I hope you enjoyed your time in Oklahoma and got to fish a little while you were here. I've worked all over NC as well. Lol. So you're just taking those panels and using 5200 to connect them? That's an interesting idea. I don't think I've ever seen that done before.

Boat is looking good. What did you make the livewell out of?

    V Boat Extension

No experience doing it and never seen it done but it would be cool. Usually longer boats are also wider so that would be a challenge. There is a guy here that widened his boat but never seen one extended. I'm sure it's possible though.

1993 Sea Nymph 16 ft vee

Nice boat. Something like that will be my next build. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

    Gluvit with no bottom paint?

The other site I get on where I learned about gluvit has a lot of guys from Canada redoing old aluminum boats. Most of these guys restore old StarCraft boats and such. I would post it here but I'm not sure Jim would want me to post about another forum here. I don't think he would care but some...

    1973 16' Crestliner V-hull Project

I'm with you there. I like boat building and wood working so I can combine 2 hobbies. My first build lasted 5 years and I didn't get it sealed very good and I didn't keep it covered after the 3rd year. I had already decided I wanted to redo my layout so I decided to kinda "abuse" the boat to see...

    1973 16' Crestliner V-hull Project

Yep. In some cases it is lighter but in general it's not that much heavier. For the cost difference I can't justify aluminum.
