    I've been thinking about the stereo thing.......I've got a feeling it will crap out after a little while. I think a cheapo boom box might be best after all. I'll work on getting picks of the trolling motor mount. It is really convenient. Thanks to all... FYI, caught this hog on Easter out...

    Yes----it is electric start----(and has pull start if the battery goes out. Does that mean it has an alternator? As the original message mentions---I'm an electrical dummy. Thanks again

    First off---thanks for the helpful info.... the OB is a 30 horse. No alternator I'll get going on the fuse box and switch panel. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks, Andy
