Got the seats mounted. Yes, I drilled holes into the pods, yes they are sealed up very well. Bass pro had some very cool quick disconnect seat mounts.

Absolutely. The Florida sun gets wild in the summer. I got it off amazon. Got the narrowest one and I still had to squeeze it in a little. Great price thought for 115$ I got a 20$ off cupon too and free shipping.

Been a while for an update. Sorry about that. But a lot has happened. Only a few steps away from it being on the water. Bought a Nice Garmin Chart Plotter/fish finder (more than I paid for the boat. We want to set some crab traps here in Florida so I want a good way to keep track of the traps)...

I need an SVG. File for an Alumacraft logo

See the attached photo. My buddy had a cnc plasma cutter and I named my boat the Aluma-Nauti. (I fancy myself somewhat of a conspiracy theorist) and it's also a fun play on the word naughty. Anyways I want him to cnc this logo out but with those words instead. But he said to make it much easier...

That's fair. That is what I wanted to do initially. And I may still do it as I just don't like the look. I was just working with what local shops had avalible for aluminum sheet.

Got the steering mech installed. A little upset I chose to put the bracket on the front side of the console but it's okay. Made a reinforcement bracket for the back side so the mechanism doesn't move at all. Also added a couple coats of filler primer to the wheel and it's looking great. Also...

I would absolutely love to go with some coosa board. Still might if I can't find any white oak locally.

I think for the cost, strength and look I'm going to go with white oak. I've heard great things and don't want to laminate anything.

Got my Steering mechanism in the mail. I was amazed the only thing needed to adapt the factory wheel was simply sand down the woodruff key and it slid right on. Paint is in the mail for the hull. What do yall reccomend for the transom? I really don't want to do wood as I have a vengeance against...
