    Finally got the last bit of transom out and did some scrubbing and sanding. After using a variety of methods to get the corrosion and adhesive leftovers out of the transom mount, I deployed the muriatic acid. Always use PPE including breathing protection if you do this, friends.

    After stripping paint and sand blasting I pulled the transom out. It was glued to the mount with something god awful and very old. A lot of drilling and chiseling for this part.
