    Motor size?

    Hey guys, I'm new and needed some suggestions. I just purchased a 12ft tin. It says Lone Star on the little badge. I'm not firmiliar with any boat so I was endearing if I can exceed the motor size. It says 7.5hp on the badge but was wondering if I can put maybe a 15hp outboard. Would to know...
