My Batt. for balance is under the deck I built in the bow of my little 12v. I bought a nice plastic battery box for it but when I got everything built the box didn't fit :evil: So I made a bracket to hold it down't tight but it's sitting on bare aluminum. Is this a problem?? should I put it on...

I got my pedestals and bases and a local Sporting good store the brand is Swivl-Eze. but I've found them on BPS and Cabelas sites for around $45 for the kit. you can also get everything seperate

I cut mine twice started with 8" but was still a little to high. So i went 5" and I can sit flat footed in my Little boat.

I get the LEDs at Peterbilt but you can get the same lights at almost any autoparts store. 2" leds are about 4.50 and regular lights are about 2.00 I think and the rubber housings are under a buck. Nice looking fish too...... Just went down to my local lake and it's still frooze :cry:

Upper Twin Lake just about 6 Miles from me has really good pike fishing, in fact a guy cought the state record there last year. 40lbs 2oz I think??

I have 2 of these LED lights one in the front and back of the front bench. I'm a truck driver and these are the lights i use on my truck, so i have plenty of spares and they mount nice and flush with a 2 1/4" hole

I couldn't find one around where i live so i made one out of a little metal bar that I had in the garage just some little nuts and bolts then screwed it down by my switch panel.

Newer guy here and thank you everyone for all the good information. I've been snooping around here since about Christmas and the snow finally melted enough for me to get my little boat in the garage and get going on it, Just got it finished today and the ice should be off the lakes here in North...

I cut my seat posts down. the top nylon cap can just be punched out after you cut it then inserted back in the shortend post, no problem....
