Well the fuel line is new. Got the motor about a month ago and changed the plugs recently. I was wondering if sea foam would help at all? It runs fine, just tricky to start.

My 1975 Mercury 110 9.8 is always a little tricky to start when I use it. It runs great and idles smoothly. Just takes a dozen pulls to get her running. Seems alot tougher than other small outboards I've used. Any tricks to give my arm a rest?

I can get another nozzle, but what about the thin tube that runs up through it? It's broke off halfway down and I'm not sure how you'd go about fixing that if it needs fixed?

What is the site? And the only number on the motor is this model number 225581501. The motor is identical to the force/chrysler/gamefisher motors but has no decals of any sort. I searched the model number and came up with craftsman.

Can someone find me a list of Force model numbers? I just got a 15 hp with model number 225 581501 and I cant seem to find that model number anywhere. The guy said it was a 1990 but I just wanted to check.

I've been looking for a motor for some time and I found someone that will sell me a 1990 force 15 hp. The guy said it needs the carb fixed and he was going to take it to a mechanic, get it fixed, and sell it for $500. But he said he'd sell it to me as is for $250. I was trying to find the price...

I'm not sure actually. There's just an ad in the local classifieds for a 9.9 Mariner asking $300. I talked to the woman and she knows nothing about it and I brought the price down to $200 assuming everything works ok.

Anyone have any experience with Mariners? I have never personally used one nor do I know anyone who has. Found one local for sale at a good price but wanted to ask all you experts on here about it. Thanks in advance!

Gave it a shot today but wind and cold rain made my attempt a short one. Only hooked one bass on a drop shot rig in 15 FOW. Felt like a pretty good one but didnt stay on long. 7" worms catch big bass :mrgreen: Still had fun trying.
