This is a good find because i was gonna get self etching primer and red rustolum to paint the outside hull of my v bottom fiberglass

How can i pressure test it myself? An can i fill just the lower unit while its off until i pressure test it?

Im gonna have a butt seat in my front an two seats in the back but im still looking for my seats

I got a 12 foot delhi thats fiberglass. Looks identical to yours. I plan on putting a deck over the seats of mine. Was it very stable? I havnt had mine out yet

yeah i know there is water in it. Looks like when you blow a head gasket on a car. I was thinking its also old bc it smelled pretty burnt up

So when i bought this motor it seemed like it was well taken care of on the top end. Well after dropping the lower unit that opinion changed lol. When i drained the oil, it came out like caramel an had that light brown look!! I would say the oil hadnt been changed idm years! Next problem is...

So i just bought this motor an got it running but it overheated. I am gonna tear into the water punp but my manual hasnt come yet. Anyone have a website with the tear down or any tips or pointers thanks

I just bought a 12 ft fiberglass mod v for the susquehanna river in pa and i already want a 140 ft mod v for two reasons; 1 i was told i would be crazy to take a fiberglass boat out n 2 i would like the extra space for gear so my gf an i can camp the susquehanna. Go bigger, u wont regret it...

Transom drain plug kit. They make em w plastic sleves an brass. I just did one on my boat. 4 bucks from west marine.

Most people cover them in carpet. After i get a coat of resin on my deck i am gonna use carpet. But i have seen them with truck bed coating before. Im still debating if i want to do carpet on my boat floor or truck bed lining
