    Alumacraft Skiff

It's an 'FD' model. Probably made in the old plant on Central Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota in the late 60's. :D

    68 alumacraft

I like surfman, would be very curious if the boat would float if filled with water. In my opinion, if it did float, it would go turtle because it doesn't have any level flotation capabilities! Be safe.

First Modification - Alumacraft fishing / duck hunting boat

It is for the steering cable when you make a turn. I forget what way - left or right. It does look like it has been cut off a bit though. Turn the wheel both directions and you should be able to see what I mean! :)

    Bench seat to storage

what fool4fish said PLUS flotation foam is like insurance....you need it, but hope that you'll never need to use it! "]The foam is for if the boat takes on water. As I said, I will be replacing the foam under the front deck. It'll be more than was in the bench seat.

    ALUMACRAFT QUESTION PLEASE

That would be 1997.....the last year they made the model 14S. That model used to be called an F7. There were well over a half million of those models made till the end of the '97 model year. The transom, as well as the port and starboard sides of the hull were "stretch formed".

    16' Alumacraft Model K build

I really like how guys on this forum redo their boats! They all spent a lot of time and effort to end up with a great rebuild on their units. HOWEVER, most all of them (you) forget about building in the saftey portion of the rebuild. The floation foam is most often forgotten or ignored. Contact...

    16' Valco V-Bottom Conversion

"Great conversion"....but....no where did I see where you put in any flotation foam! This boat will float, but only until it takes on water from a large side wave, back wash or even listing to one side landing that big catch. Remember that you are now the manufacturer of this unit and are now...
