Wish I would have taken before and after but here it is. It is a Lowe 1652 with a military 35hp Johnson. Need to come up with and idea to mount a trolling motor on the bow. Any ideas out there would be appreciated. thanks.

I'm new to tiller handled outboards but just picked up a 1652mt lowe with a 1995 35hp johnson (military outboard). The question I have is on the end of the tiller handle there is a round knob, what does that knob do? You can turn mine clockwise and counter clockwise but it appears to do nothing...
