    Paint stripping has consumed probably 30 hrs so far. I have used $36.00 in stripper (wally world). All in all I am into this project aprox $150.00 so far. I am very excited about that.

    One question I have is the height extension. Is this something that may have come on the boat when new, or possibly made, or a option to buy and add?? It is definetly added, but looks manufactured. You can easily see the "original" height of the sides with the factory corners below this extension.

    I used paint stripper and a scraper then paint stripper and power washer. After every application of stripper it got scrubbed and power washed so as to not let it dry or sit very long on the aluminum. Worked out very good for me especially with all the rivets. Let the stripper sit about 10...
