Any suggestions on a good basic fishfinder? I just need to find fish....dnt care about down imaging or gps

Its simply a piano hinges on the front deck, and as far as attaching the wood to the aluminium bench i used deck hangers from home depot and drilled 1/2" holes into the aluminum and used 3/8ths toggle bolts to secure them to the benches. Hope this helps

Will be going to pickup my steering console, control box and shift cables saturday and hopefully converting over to remote steer as well. Will post pics of the completion. The more i think about it. The wood isnt mounted directly to the aluminum up front and on the floor there is 3/4" r25 board...

Really the only wood is the front deck and the plywood on the floor between the 2 benches

This was my first build.....do i need to take the pressure treated wood out? i dont like seeing popcorn eating as a reply lol. Im open to any and all constructive critiscism

I havent actually used the boat yet but i think i will like the layout i need to get rid of the bench seat i made and use use the aluminum bench. The wood extension is great but takes up 2' of room from front to back. I did not treat the wood just bought pressure treated

In my opinion it turned out really good. It has been alot of wotk but all in all it took about 14 hrs to get it where it is at now.

well got a little more work done got my batteries installed in the front. got the inside completely carped front deck is hinged and installed my bow mount trolling motor. steering console fish finders and lights are soon to come

I am an automotive technican and by all means no boat mechanic. I want to convert over my tiller johnson to remote does anybody have some links to what i all need more so the steering arms and bracketry. I know the obvious like a control box and cables. what do i need for steering and brackets...
