It's quite possible that the rivets are corroding. I've heard and seen very silmilar things happening on on air frames.

I had a 98' 1548DK. Bought it new and recently sold it to buy and 1860 XV180. There is little comparison between a Seaark and others. I hit a Channel marker at 25mph in the dark and it did little damage. I pains me to look at it, so I'm taking it to Seaark for repair this fall.

I have 2 Richters. They are expensive but will hold when a Danforth sometimes won't.

I've got a 98' model, and I have put it through every imaginable scenario. It is built like a tank. You'll pay extra for that, but it is well worth it.

I need a starting battery for a 25 Johnson and occasional trolling motor use. Not sure which group to buy. Anybody have experience with these? Thanks.
