What will you need to power up? You may not need a big battery. I put a 12 gallon tank up front under a small deck.
WOW! thats exactly what i was thinking of, hiding the tank and the battery box under a small deck like that. thanks!!

here are a few more mods, accessory plug on bow, switch panel on middle bench, knee brace & stern light

love what youve done with the boat so far! what paint did you use? it looks amazing! depending on how expensive it was i may have to steal it! :) feel free to check out my build and tell me what you think!

gents,
the paint is the new "line-x", which has kevlar in it. the deck & hull was done for $500 here locally in AR
thank you very much for the compliment. i have put a lot of heart & soul into it.....

It really does look great, and will last forever I'm sure. I originally wanted to do the Line-X xtra, but locally I was quoted almost $900 for my 15 footer. I don't think so. Instead, I rolled on gray Herculiner myself. I've heard mixed reviews about the do-it-yourself products, but I tell ya...it's all about the prep work. I spent three weeks sanding and grinding with a wire wheel, and only one day painting. Cost was about $200. So far so good...no issues.

Great job so far cmgibby. Wasn't trying to hijack your thread. I just wanted to let guys know if they can't afford the Line-x, there are other options. If money isn't an issue, I'd have the professionals spray it.

WOW that looks good. i am jealous. this boat is as far as i can go i feel. i need another that slightly bigger. to many thing i wish i could do yet cannot with the size limit. a foot longer and a wider base it what i want. i am gonna be looking around to sell or trade this for something a little bigger and start again.
