I’m completely redoing my 1990 sears Jon boat from the bones all the way up. I’m trying to make this as light as possible.
What would be the downside of applying EVA foam directly to the hull?
This way the floor channels are still fully open but I am able to remove the plywood and additional supporting foam. Anyone see a downside to doing it this way? Foam would be one large peice between the ribs in the red section of the picture below.
And no I didn’t cut the hole in the bench seat. I bought the boat that way.
