Im having a hell of a time finding carbs for this motor. I pulled a bonehead move and cracked the casting for the float bowl. Carbs are wma 1-3 and wma 1-0. Off a 96 40hp 4cyl 2 stroke.
Are their any alternitive to the oe carbs?
I might try finding a jb weld alternitive that is fuel compatibly too.

Although I dislike their mixing info (needs a scale for BEST results IMHO) ... Marine-Tex is fuel compatible and I have used it to repair an engine block on an OB motor.

It is as tough as they say, as we even drilled and tapped the epoxy repair!

[strike]Weren't those motors the same series as the 50hp and 60hp setups? I've got a late 80's 60hp that I picked up for the stainless prop on it and to have a spare lower unit, the carbs are in bad shape but the bowls are fine. What is the part # on the fuel bowl to your motor?[/strike]

NVM - models changed in the early 90's

Got a set off ebay...look like they got manhandled by channel locks. Ill try out that marine tex and see if i can get something going with what i got.
Thanks
