I heard about the USCG formula and looked up the Code of Federal Regulations and read it for myself. I took the measurements and the formula says it could go up to 87.## HP, and you round up to the nearest increment of 5. So legally Tracker could have plate rated this boat at 90 but nothin stops them from rating it lower. I think they do that as a marketing ploy.
