I am going to have TM batteries side by side for 24 volts. what is the right or normal length jumper cables? I can have them custom made at a decent price, heat shrink lugs and heat shrink 6 awg. for &2.25 each.Just need a normal length.Tinned marine grade wire,I think this is a good deal from a local electrical company.

You need to determine where the batteries will be mounted, then determine how much jumper cable you need. You want enough length for them to be moved/removed easily when needed, and maybe to be routed in a safe manner to prevent damage but not too long where they will be a hazard. Mount the batteries, then use old garden hose or cheap plastic tubing to lay out the cable routes.

The jumper between the batteries should be the same size as the cable going to the trolling motor as it will carry the same current as the cables. Use the size called for in the TM user manual.
