Spent the weekend out-of-town at my BIL's and got some fishing done in-between pressure washing the deck adjacent to his small private pond. The pressure washing was an all day job, shared between myself, and two of my BIL's. The deck is about 16'x30', and had some really old stain on it, and a bunch of other "stuff' from the surrounding trees. Yesterday morning I got up before everyone else and decided to wet a line. I had already caught 3 and loss 2 by the time everyone else got up. All of my catches were on a Rage Tail Crawdad (summer craw color). I alternated using some worms (Red Shad Tiki Stick & a Basssnacks Black/Blue Flake Finessit worm, but no takers, so went back to the rage tail craw. The 1lb 3 oz catch is mine, caught in about 6' of water (didn't photograph the other two as they weren't worthy), and the 1lb 5oz and 1lb 1oz are my wife's catches, which were caught on a Zoom Glimmer Blue Fluke, in about 2' of water. All baits were t-rigged on Gammy 3/0 EWG hooks, with a 1/8oz bullet weight.
My catch:
Wife's catch: 1lb 1oz. (yep, I take 'em off the hook for her)
Wife's other catch: 1lb 5oz
BIL's pressure washing deck railing: (it was my pressure washer, so I didn't have to do the "outside the rail" stuff )
