not sure what you mean by bouyancy but if you mean you want your boat to ride higher in the water you could fill your whole boat and it will make no difference what so ever, now if you mean in case you tip or flip your boat and want it so your boat wont sink there should be enough foam under benches etc..to keep it from sinking per coast guard regs. just pull your floor up and lay the sheets down on the bottom, you will end up being high on each side so take a horse comb, hacksaw blade or whatever you can make work to shape it so the floor will lay flat across it. id make it about a half inch high so when you bolt the floor back down it will compress the foam down a bit. oh and make sure the foam you use wont absorb water(even the stuff that says it wont will after years and years of being exposed to rain etc..) by wrapping with something and be sure not to tear it when re-installing the floor...thats my .02 cents

Add flotation pods to the back.

What he said... that's the only way you're going to get your boat to sit higher in the water - but at the same time, it's more for floatation when you have a TON of weight in the back and the back end sits so low it makes you look like your boat is always on plane
