I have a long shaft lower unit that came off of a 1982 Evinrude 9.9hp. It unbolted from the exhaust housing fine but the driveshaft was seized in the crank. After getting that off I moved on to removing the spacer to access the water pump and a couple bolts sheared. The gear oil was dark and well used but free of water and metal so it should have good seals. It's been sitting in my shop like that for a couple of years. Don't have a need for it now and could use the money to fund my short shaft conversion on my Yamaha 30. If anyone is interested in let me know and I will try to fix it up so that it is bolt on ready. Will also sell as is if someone else wants to tackle the job.
