Battery chargers

Could I use a single bank charger on a 24 volt system. I am just wondering if i can use a 2 bank charger with one bank for 12 v, and one for the 24 volt... or get two single bank chargers all together, I sent the 49.00 ones back to Cabellas, as they were indeed for group 24 only...

All the onboard chargers I have seen work off 12 volts with a set of leads for each battery so that it is charging each one by itself at 12 volts. If you have more banks than batteries, you can put 2 banks on 1 battery as far as I know. But none that I have seen charge 24v or 36v systems as a "set" with 1 set of leads. Your 24v system will require a 2 bank charger.

I scored a brand new in the box BPS Xps charger this AM on ebay, 3 bank 5 amp each, in my price range, SO hopefully it all works out... I just need another battery now...
