beefing up a TM

has enyone tryed to replaced the motor with a big ft pounds motor on a trolling motor ??

Are you talkinga bout taking out the existing motor and replacing it with a larger ft. lbs. motor? I could take out my motor and replace it with a larger one, but you would also have to change out the control panel up top. Other wise I do not think you would have a problem.
